Over the course of the past few months, if you have been following the routine of the Indian uncle who sits down everyday in his verandah in his rocky chair and reads his newspaper while screaming for chai every now and so, you would’ve heard a pip or so about the astronomical prices the lumber industry has witnessed in the past few months or so. So, like the Indian uncle, you would’ve thought that a) Why is the chai taking so long, and b) Why is lumber more expensive than a Reliance share?
